UniqArts offers an integrated approach for mind and physical wellbeing.  This approach takes the gentle form of exercise using Taichi movement and creative group art therapy for mind body wellness. This is a program that promote healthy workplace, personal and group therapy. It is for company to take care of their workforce mental health and build a strong and supportive team. Health Promotion Board in Singapore urge and support companies for workplace health.

What is Taichi and Why Taichi

"Taichi" is a gentle form of exercise that focus on meditated movements, breathing and with a set of simple to complex movements. It has proven Taichi exercise helps to ease many pains of aging, prevent many health problems or illness and it is for all ages. Doing Taichi as a group enhances the therapeutic effect and strengthen bonding at the same time. Companies may choose to focus on Taichi for mind and body wellness.

What is Group Art Therapy

By using the group art therapy, your workforce will be enjoying the therapeutic process of art and gain a new insight about themselves, peers and workplace. Team bonding and teamwork are reinforced to build a resilient,  productive, optimistic, strong and competitive workforce. Group Art Therapy is a mental health and wellness for workplace, companies and group. Group Art Therapy aims to provide a safe and creative space for the group to relax and express themselves. It will be facilitated by trained, experienced and qualified art therapist.

To engage group doing gentle and healthy exercise using Taichi movement. To focus on breathing, relaxation and mindfulness through Taichi excerise. To provide an open platform and safe space for creative expression as a group. To facilitate therapeutic process through group work in a relaxed and fun environment through art and creative activities. To engage members into bonding with resilient as a team. To improve mental wellness by using art as therapy. To provide option for individual to book additional art therapy session. To develop team bonding through creative process and art. To let group members appreciate and get to know each others from new perspectives.To empower team creative thinking and team problem solving.  To allow individuals in search of their creative talents and promote personal growth, development and rejuvenation  from this program.

Creative Process

Our workshop will facilitate group activities through Taichi movements and Group Art Therapy. This program is designed in stages for positive experiences, relaxation and mental wellness. Our qualified and experienced trainer will guide the entire process to allows members to gain awareness of themselves, peers and workplace. They will be able to proceed to next level by understanding each other strength through creative works. Members tasks are to be assigned creatively and productively. Once they are ready, members to start to do creative art together. Team members are gain insights about their own individual creative talents, strength and how their contribution to the team.

We provide debrief at the end of the group art therapy for members to reflect and learn from this event. Members to get feedback from each other and explore how this process could be useful to their work place. To provide exceptional and inspirational experience, we incorporate creativity and art jamming and art therapy into the process. The process can strengthen a team and create new bonding.

Proven Methodologies

We adopted proven methodologies and process for mind body wellness, individual and group bonding, therapeutic and strengthen resilience and creative problem solving skill:
Creativity-Juice:
Creativity-Juice program is introduced throughout the group and team art activities and event to facilitate members creative thinking, creative problem-solving and team spirit. A focus on balancing strategy, flexibility and resourcefulness.
Art Jamming Retreat:
The program is actively use of aesthetic, visual, images, and art-related projects to allow right brain function of members for rejuvenation, relaxation and retreat. Jamming might be through a combination of art, music, movement, mindfulness, meditation or the like depending on the appropriateness.
Creative Art Therapy:
The therapeutic process of using creativity and art is facilitated in order to engage members into rejuvenation, relaxation and recharge from this program. At the end of the program, trainer will do debrief about team bonding and provide insights to help members understand how they can benefit from this program.

Our group art therapy is by Mr. Paul Lee, who is a qualifed, experienced and trained rtist, art therapist, and consultant. He is the founder of UniqArts and Technologies. Mr. Lee holds a Master in Arts (Art Therapy) with LaSalle College of the Arts and A Bachelor degree with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technologies (RMIT). He is also trained in fine arts from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). Mr. Lee has facilitated many creative art projects for therapeutic and developmental. Mr. Lee is the author of the popular Drawing is Easy books series and creator of several innovative program such as Creativity-Juice, ChinesExplorer, Animation is Easy, Creative Art Therapies, OnlineArtclass, and many others.

Mr. Lee led many creative art projects, art therapy, retreat and workshops for schools, hospitals and corporations. What is a good Team Building Event

Fantastic Art Class for children

A new, exciting and fantastic art program for children.

Fantastic Art Class level 1 is for children age 4 to 6 to explore, experience and enjoy Drawing, Painting, Folding and Creating. This art class is for children to gain know-how and enjoy the amazing world of art in fantastic learning environment, expression, imagination and comprehensive hands-on therapeutic art experience. It is taught by professional qualified artist, art therapist and teacher.

Fantastic Art Class Level 1 Program Summary: 

• For children during their vital years development
• To learn, explore and experience the fantastic process of drawing, painting, folding and creating 3D clay models
• To develop and build fine motor skills through drawing
• To expand imagination and creative expression through painting
• To nurture logic and creative thinking skills through paper folding (Origami)
• To enhance perspective, sensory motor skills and creating 3 dimensional objects through clay modelling
• Small group size with individual attention and coaching

• Fantastic Art Class level 1 is for children age 4 to 6 years old

• Children will learn HOW to DRAW with confidence and subjects are designed to be appropriate in this age group such animals, birds, insect, people, house, marine life, farm, playground, transport, etc. 
• Children will learn HOW to PAINT with water colour, poster painting and exploring world of colours
• Children will learn HOW to FOLD paper into 3 dimensional models from a single sheet of paper or multiple sheet of papers. 
• Children will learn HOW to CREATE their own 3 dimensional clay models such as animals, birds, marine, decorative items or cartoon characters. 
• Creativity-Juice program is integrated to enhance and empower creativity and imagination

• The development of fine motor skills can be reinforced through our art program because we focus on DRAWING and all drawing to be done by the children independently. Art work will truly reflect their level of fine motor skills and progress.
