A Workshop for Parents - Child Development Through Art, Creativity and Art Therapy

This workshop aims to give parents information and tips as reference for their children growing up to be happy, strong and healthy in this fast pace, modern society, and highly competitive world. It is a specialised workshop for parents to understand more about child development through art, creativity and art therapy. Get a free assessment for your child at this workshop.


Workshop Objectives:

  • To give parents an understanding about the impact of art, creativity and art therapy for child development
  • To provide tips for parents about IQ and EQ development. Developmental theories - Nature vs Nurture. What is CQ development.
  • To introduce how creative art therapy helps child in their development
  • To help parents in gaining an insight of the child growing up issues
  • To provide general information for understanding the child talent in art and creativity
  • To understand what are the do and don't with art, craft and creative activities 

For Who:

  • Parents who are interested to know more about child development through art, creativity and art therapy. Parents may bring along 1 artwork of their child for a free assessment.

Small Group:

  • This workshop limit the size of each group at 10 families (or 20 parents) and limit to one child per family for free assessment by the art therapist

By Professional Artist and Art Therapist Paul Lee:

  • This workshop will be delivered by professional artist, art teacher and qualified art therapist - Paul Lee. Mr. Lee has been teaching Children art since 1989 and he is founder of UniqArts and Technologies. He is also the author of Children Drawing Books - Drawing is Easy series. Being an art therapist, Mr. Lee can gain in-depth understanding of the students' need, strength, and weakness and he can coach them accordingly.
